so we are at the point where my daughter has been taking in my lifestyle for 4 years since she i left the truth when she was just 4 years old.

my son who is a couple of years younger thankfully seems to be immune to most of the indoctrination from the jws.

I have read your story and feel very said about this, I have too as a child been indoctrinated with this sort of thing. Thinking that every time there was a storm it may be armagedon coming and I would not be with my family and everyone around me would drop dead. It is all very wrong and this is emotional abuse and should be stopped. I am very keen to lobby against this sort of abuse. But where do we start with this. You are right they should not be taken in the kingdom hall again.

I think you are going to have a tough time with ths one but, one thing I have always found to work with my children is to always tell them the truth (not as we know it) I mean real facts proven by science! You will have to try and explain that mummy may believe this but you do not so it will not affect you.

Would You Like WatchTower Better if They Open a Soup Kitchen or Charity Thrift Store?

i see over and over so many times jws and x-jws alike complaining about wt's lack of charity work.

it almost seems to imply that wt would be an ok religion if only they opened a soup kitchen or had some charity pet project.. do you really think that a food bank would reconcile all of the sins of that organization?.

would you be more inclined to accept wt teachings if only they would do something to help "needy people"?.

Love the comments above - but where would they donate that charity money too? Maybe for a new machine at The Bethel to re-fluff their pillows?? Cant imagine them ever giving money to any charitable cause-that would be really pagan. Anyway they may receive demon possessed clothes or furniture? Now that would be scary!!
